Under the leadership of Secretary Xavier Becerra of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and Secretary Tom Vilsack of the U.S. Department of Agriculture, the U.S. Interagency Council on Homelessness (USICH) met on December 16 for its final meeting of Calendar Year 2024 and the first meeting of Fiscal Year 2025. 

Today, the U.S. Interagency Council on Homelessness (USICH), U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), and U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) announced that veteran homelessness has dropped to its lowest level on record since the annual Point-in-Time (PIT) started counting this data in 2009.
