Regional or state interagency councils serve a similar role as USICH but on a local scale. They consist of cross-system members, coordinate the homelessness strategy for their regions or states, and offer technical assistance to local leaders and providers. If you are interested in launching an interagency council on homelessness, read USICH's guidance for "Creating and Sustaining State Interagency Councils on Homelessness," and contact your USICH senior regional advisor.
