How They Help
USICH’s senior regional advisors are seasoned experts who have decades of experience working to prevent and end homelessness. In their previous roles, they were mayors, Continuum of Care board members, federal grant managers, and state and local government employees. USICH’s senior regional advisors are based in communities across the country. (View the map and list below to find your state's advisor.) They help state, local, and tribal governments, as well as nonprofit and private organizations, achieve the goals of the federal strategic plan. They do this through technical assistance that includes regulation interpretation, program coordination, policy recommendations, and federal application assistance.
