Labor Department Now Taking Applications for Homeless Veterans’ Reintegration Grants
The Labor Department announced a funding opportunity for organizations to provide training and employment services to Veterans experiencing or at risk of homelessness.
The grants, which are administered by the Veterans’ Employment and Training Service (VETS), will provide up to $500,000 a year for three years for projects across the country.
The VETS' Homeless Veterans’ Reintegration Program (HVRP) awards grants on a competitive basis to:
- State and local workforce investment boards;
- Local public agencies;
- Nonprofit organizations;
- Tribal governments; and
- Faith-based and community organizations.
Applications are due February 23.
