During Fall Council Meeting, Agencies Review Draft Strategic Plan
This year’s fall Council meeting took place on August 20 via conference call due to the ongoing restrictions placed on in-person gatherings as a result of COVID-19. The meeting was devoted to reviewing a draft of the new federal strategic plan to prevent and end homelessness. Council member agencies offered several recommendations that the USICH Executive Director agreed to address before sending to clearance. The Council voted unanimously to send the document to the next stage of interdepartmental clearance and hopes to publish the new plan in September.
