Apply Now for Emergency Food and Shelter Funding for the Southern U.S. Border
On April 13, the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) allocated $150 million to the National Board for the Emergency Food and Shelter Program (EFSP).
The National Board will award these funds to state government facilities as well as local nonprofit and governmental organizations that have helped, or will help, people encountered by the Department of Homeland Security at the southern U.S. border with shelter, food, and supportive services.
Local nonprofit and governmental organizations must submit applications to program local boards. State government facilities must submit applications through their program state set-aside committee.
