HUD Awards 3rd Round of Tribal HUD-VASH Grants
The Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) recently invested more than $9 million toward preventing and ending homelessness among Native American veterans.
The federal agency issued 28 renewal awards through the Tribal HUD-Veterans Affairs Supportive Housing ( Tribal HUD-VASH ) Program, which combines rental assistance from HUD with case management and clinical services provided by the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).
This is the third round of expansion grants under the Tribal HUD-VASH Program, which currently houses approximately 400 Native American veterans.
