HUD Awards More FYI Funding to Keep Foster Youth Housed
This month, the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) awarded nearly $1 million to 17 public housing agencies (PHAs) in 11 states.
The PHAs can use the funding, which comes from the Foster Youth to Independence (FYI) Program , to provide housing assistance to youth who are aging out of foster care and experiencing or at risk of homelessness.
