HUD Awards $2.6B in Continuum of Care (CoC) Funding
The Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) awarded more than $2.6 billion in FY 2021 Continuum of Care (CoC) program funding for roughly 7,000 local homeless housing and service programs.
The CoC program is the largest source of federal grant funding for homeless services and housing programs for people experiencing homelessness. The grantees reflect the Biden-Harris administration’s commitment to equity and evidence-based solutions. The awards fund new projects focused on domestic violence support as well as permanent housing expansion.
