HUD Awards $10M to Help End Homelessness Among Native American Veterans
The Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) awarded more than $10 million to provide rental assistance and supportive housing services through the Tribal HUD-VASH Program (HUD-Department of Veteran Affairs Supportive Housing).
This funding—which pairs rental assistance from HUD with case management and other supportive services provided by VA—will keep nearly 500 Native American veterans housed while offering housing opportunities to more Native American veterans experiencing homelessness.
