A year ago this month, in May 2023, the White House and the U.S. Interagency Council on Homelessness (USICH) launched the ALL INside Initiative to address the homelessness crisis in targeted communities with high numbers of people living outside. 

Under the new leadership of Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary Xavier Becerra, the U.S. Interagency Council on Homelessness (USICH) met this month to discuss how the federal government can provide more support for innovative state and local efforts to meet the needs of people experiencing both homelessness and mental health or substance use disorders.

Today, the White House and the U.S. Interagency Council on Homelessness (USICH) will launch ALL INside, a first-of-its kind initiative to address unsheltered homelessness across the country.
