New Data from Washington State Shows Strong Correlation between ACE Score and Homelessness
March 08, 2012
This new study from the Washington State Family Policy Council found that a high correlation between people who experienced 3 or more Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACE score of 3 or more) and their lifetime experiences of homelessness. On average, people with ACE scores over 3 were 7 times more likely to experience homelessness. Disability increased the risk that a higher ACE score would be associated with homelessness. The study covered a large and diverse population.
