National Transitional Jobs Network releases new resources in Working to End Homelessness Initiative
January 30, 2012
The National Transitional Jobs Network (NTJN), in partnership with the Butler Family Fund, began the Working to End Homelessness Initiative. This initiative shines light on the critical role of employment in ending homelessness and works to advance workforce solutions to ending homelessness. NTJN recently released a variety of best practice briefs for the field, which cover topics such as service delivery principles and techniques, overcoming employment barriers for those experiencing homelessness, and current employment program components that can be modified to better serve this population. We encourage service providers, WIA grantees and local governments to take a look at these resources and learn more about NTJN and their work.
